Active Directory (AD) Account Lock Out
Step 1: Tools
- Make sure you have the Account Lockout Status (Lockoutstatus.exe) installed on your computer.
- Active Directory Users and Groups
- Open Account Lockout Status
Step 2: Navigate
- Open “File”
- Select “Target”
- Enter “Target User Name” in first.lastname format
- You may need to pull the username from “Active Directory Users and Computers”
- IF “Target Domain Name” is blank enter “drphillipscenter.biz”
Step 3: Info
- From the tool you can view Bad password attempts, when the password was last set and IF/when the account was locked out.
Step 4: unlock account or reset Password
- Use Active Directory Users and Groups to unlock account and or reset password.
